Глава 18

1 После сего Давид поразил Филистимлян, и покорил их, и взял Геф, и зависящие от него места из руки Филистимлян.

2 Он поразил также Моавитян, и сделались Моавитяне подвластными Давиду, приносящими дань.

3 Еще поразил Давид Гадар-езера, царя Цовы, в Емафе, когда он шел утвердить власть свою на реке Ефрате.

4 И взял Давид у него тысячу колесниц и семь тысяч всадников, и двадцать тысяч пеших, и перерезал Давид жилы всем колесничным коням, и оставил из них только сто колесниц.

5 И пришли Сирияне Дамасские на помощь Гадар-езеру, царю Цовы, и поразил Давид из Сириян двадцать две тысячи человек.

6 И поставил Давид охранное войско в Сирии Дамасской, и Сирияне сделались подвластными Давиду, приносящими дань. Таким образом Господь хранил Давида везде, куда он ни ходил.

7 И взял Давид золотые щиты, которые были у слуг Гадар-езеровых, и принес их в Иерусалим.

8 А из Тивхавы и Куна, городов Гадар-езеровых, взял Давид весьма много меди. Из ней Соломон сделал медное море, столбы и медные сосуды.

9 Когда Фоу, царь Амафа, услышал, что Давид разбил всю силу Гадар-езера, царя Цовы:

10 Он послал Гадорама, сына своего, к царю Давиду спросить его о здравии, и благодарить его за то, что он воевал с Гадар-езером и поразил его; поелику Фоу был в войнах с Гадар-езером; и принес с собою Гадорам всякие сосуды золотые, серебряные и медные.

11 И сии царь Давид посвятил Господу, вместе с серебром и золотом, которое приносил он от всех народов, от Идумеян, от Моавитян, от Аммонитян, от Филистимлян и от Амаликитян.

12 И Авешай, сын Церуин, поразил Идумеян на долине Соляной, восемнадцать тысяч.

13 И поставил в Идумее охранное войско, и сделались все Идумеяне подвластными Давиду. Таким образом Господь хранил Давида везде, куда он ни ходил.

14 Так царствовал Давид над всем Израилем, и делал суд и правду всему народу своему.

15 Иоав, сын Церуи, был военачальником, а Иосафат, сын Ахилуда, был памятописцем.

16 Цадок, сын Ахитува, и Авимелех, сын Авиафара, были священниками, Шавеша писцем.

17 А Бенаия, сын Иегоиады, начальствовал над исполнителями казней и скороходами. И сыновья Давидовы были первыми при царе.

1 Now after310 this3651 it came1961 to pass, that David1732 smote5221 the Philistines,6430 and subdued3665 them, and took3947 Gath1661 and her towns1323 out of the hand3027 of the Philistines.6430

2 And he smote5221 Moab;4124 and the Moabites4124 became1961 David's1732 servants,5650 and brought5375 gifts.4503

3 And David1732 smote5221 Hadarezer1928 king4428 of Zobah6678 to Hamath,2574 as he went3212 to establish5324 his dominion3027 by the river5104 Euphrates.6578

4 And David1732 took3920 from him a thousand505 chariots,7393 and seven7651 thousand505 horsemen,6571 and twenty6242 thousand505 footmen:376 7273 David1732 also hamstrung6131 all3605 the chariot7393 horses,5483 but reserved3498 of them an hundred3967 chariots.7393

5 And when the Syrians758 of Damascus1834 came935 to help5826 Hadarezer1928 king4428 of Zobah,6678 David1732 slew5221 of the Syrians758 two8147 and twenty6242 thousand505 men.376

6 Then David1732 put7760 garrisons in Syriadamascus;758 1834 and the Syrians758 became1961 David's1732 servants,5650 and brought5375 gifts.4503 Thus the LORD3068 preserved3467 David1732 wherever3605 834 he went.1980

7 And David1732 took3947 the shields7982 of gold2091 that were on5921 the servants5650 of Hadarezer,1928 and brought935 them to Jerusalem.3389

8 Likewise from Tibhath,2880 and from Chun,3560 cities5892 of Hadarezer,1928 brought3947 David1732 very3966 much7227 brass,5178 with which Solomon8010 made6213 the brazen5178 sea,3220 and the pillars,5982 and the vessels3627 of brass.5178

9 Now when Tou8583 king4428 of Hamath2574 heard8085 how3588 David1732 had smitten5221 all3605 the host2428 of Hadarezer1928 king4428 of Zobah;6678

10 He sent7971 Hadoram1913 his son1121 to king4428 David,1732 to inquire7592 of his welfare,7965 and to congratulate1288 him, because5921 834 he had fought3898 against Hadarezer,1928 and smitten5221 him; (for Hadarezer1928 had1961 war4421 with Tou;8583) and with him all3605 manner of vessels3627 of gold2091 and silver3701 and brass.5178

11 Them also1571 king4428 David1732 dedicated6942 to the LORD,3068 with the silver3701 and the gold2091 that he brought5375 from all3605 these nations;1471 from Edom,123 and from Moab,4124 and from the children1121 of Ammon,5983 and from the Philistines,6430 and from Amalek.6002

12 Moreover Abishai52 the son1121 of Zeruiah6870 slew5221 of the Edomites130 in the valley1516 of salt4417 eighteen8083 6240 thousand.505

13 And he put7760 garrisons5333 in Edom;123 and all3605 the Edomites130 became1961 David's1732 servants.5650 Thus the LORD3068 preserved3467 David1732 wherever3605 834 he went.1980

14 So David1732 reigned4427 over5921 all3605 Israel,3478 and executed6213 judgment4941 and justice6666 among all3605 his people.5971

15 And Joab3097 the son1121 of Zeruiah6870 was over5921 the host;6635 and Jehoshaphat3092 the son1121 of Ahilud,286 recorder.2142

16 And Zadok6659 the son1121 of Ahitub,285 and Abimelech40 the son1121 of Abiathar,54 were the priests;3548 and Shavsha7798 was scribe;5608

17 And Benaiah1141 the son1121 of Jehoiada3111 was over5921 the Cherethites3774 and the Pelethites;6432 and the sons1121 of David1732 were chief7223 about the king.4428

5 И пришли Сирияне Дамасские на помощь Гадар-езеру, царю Цовы, и поразил Давид из Сириян двадцать две тысячи человек.

12 И Авешай, сын Церуин, поразил Идумеян на долине Соляной, восемнадцать тысяч.
